Throughout the course I have repeatedly, offered and attempted to draw comparisons, between a country's developmental stage, compared that to the stages of development humans pass through. In this response, I would ask that you compare a humans's growth stages with various countries that we have examined. Provide information of the various stages of development, and select countries that are in those various stages. I would expect at least 5-7 stages of development, listing a country for each stage, and characteristics of each stage. (The stages of human development may be identified by age or school grade, or terms such as baby, toddler, pre-school, child, adolescent, pre-teen or teen, young adulthood, adulthood, mature, old age etc.)

In the movies Dr. Strangelove and Thirteen Days, I emphasized how the "West," has been on the edge of "readiness." I noted that America has been on the brink of "Nuclear" war, on at least a couple of occassions.
Can you identify some other/current countries/event, whose actions, and relations, with the United States, might provoke a similar sequence of steps/events to occur. Please identify at least eight "steps" that have indicated this escalation of events, as the situation intensifies, that can be said to be with us today.
