Who's land is it anyway?

Who's land is it anyway?
Who's land is it anyway? In regards to Israel and Palestine, who should the land belong to? In this essay, detail the history of the area, and come to a conclusion, to answer the question.
What is the significant, underlying issue, that is seen as a significant roadblock with this situation?

The fact that Israel and Palestine fight with each other over this whole land dispute is absolutely ridiculous. Israel was created by the British for the Jewish people, and this aggravated Palestine. Why, then, does Palestine attack the Israeli people, and not the British. Was it not the British who created the county? Is it not the British who took away their territory? So why attack the Israelis? Everyone wants vengeance for something that happened to them, and God if they can't get it.
